Sliding at Bowering Park

Maybe there was a reason why I haven’t gone sliding in like 3 years…

Last night after Etcetera/Show Choir, myself, Jaimie F, Josh B, Jon H, Justin W, Brad F, Dave G and Greg decided to go sliding at Bowering Park.

The second time I went down the hill my tube left from under me and I ended up falling straight on my back with Jaimie on top of me. My back still feels uncomfortable and aching, my lip is swollen and my back is scratched too, nothing major though.

Jaimie however took a worse fall afterwards…

She was sliding down the hill and realized she was going to hit a tree so instead of sticking out her legs to stop her she put out her right arm and she bucked it back, flipped over and landed on it. Jon was checking it for her, she could move her fingers a bit, he’d pinch her fingers and she was able to feel it but she was still in a nice bit of pain, so Jon wrapped it up in a scarf and gave her a sling and we brought her to the Janeway at like 12.

Jon called her Mom and she met us at the Janeway shortly after.

They did an e-ray on it and it turns out that she has a fractured bone…

I’m not sure what yet, we didn’t want to hang around the hospital causing much noise or anything so we left as soon as Jaimie went into the plaster room to get her cast.

Our sliding trip was a little unsuccessful…

We think that her cast might be up over her elbow because she was complaining about pains in her forearm too. I really hope it’ll be off in time for the grad though on the 8th of April, which is in about 6/7 weeks or so.

Get better Jaimie :)

Tickets Booked!

Maria and I have our tickets booked!

It’s only a really short trip, but it was cheap and we’ll still have a great time.

We’re leaving here on Sunday Morning at 10:20am (enough time to still go to show choir Sunday morning :P) and returning on Wednesday afternoon.

Like I said, it’s really short, but I really shouldn’t miss too much of school just this fresh into a new term.

That’s it for now.

TV shows?

It’s terrible how addicted to TV shows I can get.

I’ve always been a fan of “Friends” but lately when I finish one season I go out that same evening to just get the next season, I’m busting cash on them so easily, but once I’m hooked to shows there’s like no stopping me :| Next will be season 5, I’ll end up buying it but I think I’ll just borrow it from Josh to save 40 dollars for the time being, but then I’d only need 5 and 7 to finish the collection.

Secondly, there's “Lost”.

The first time I saw it was about 2 weeks ago and now I’m hooked to that too. It’s weird how I haven’t even heard of it until about a week or two ago. But anyways, I borrowed season 1 of it from Lloyde and tomorrow he’s giving me the other two discs so I can finish watching the season, and I bet tomorrow evening I’ll just spend it in front of the TV. I just always need to know what’s happening next.

Maria and I still haven’t booked our tickets!

We keep saying we’ll do it but when I call her she’s out or vice versa.

I’m a little sketchy on missing 4 days of school because I’m one who hates missing class, I hate being behind with school work, but it’ll be worth it. I think we’ll both enjoy the break :)

Oh! Today I decided to count how many flights I’ve been on in 2005 just because I’ve been on a few trips that year and I ended up boarding 16 flights between July 2005-December 2005! Haha isn’t that crazy?!

Sorry about the nothing entries:P

I’m just randomly updating this often now just because I’d rather use this than do anything on bk at the moment.

Report card/Halifax

Report card yesterday...

All I can say it that it was a bit of a surprise me to me! I think I’m going to go talk to my Math, French and the Science department head about my marks for those courses. It seems like something impossible has happened since last report card and then now, like from my marks from quizzes and the exam just doesn’t seem to add up right…

This time next week I’ll be in Halifax with Maria :)

We decided it would do us both some good going away for a little bit, she’ll be on her midterm break and I’ll be missing 4 days of school. We’re leaving Saturday morning and coming back Thursday afternoon, and knowing me I’ll go to school on Thursday for the last two classes if I have some extra time. Haha

It’s funny though. When Maria and I thought about going away the first place we checked flights/prices for was the Bahamas since that’s where her dad lives…but then we just settled for Halifax because prices for the Bahamas we’re usually expensive for the dates we wanted.

I really should update this more often, I’d rather say things on this rather then on bk.

I don’t even know if even reads this!...well except for Jen! She left two comments so far.

That’s it for now.
